   Hot Soup and Rolls
Blairgowrie and Rattray Christmas Lights and Decorations

Each year a team of volunteers turn out on a cold Sunday in November to decorate the town with Christmas lights and decorations, and work until the job is done.

All the ladies of Blairgowrie and District Trefoil Guild busied themselves making soup and filling rolls. On Sunday 15 November ’09 members of our Guild set out for the town centre armed with two dixies of hot soup and trays full of rolls.

The day thankfully was fine, but grey and cold and it did not take long for the team of volunteers when they stopped for lunch,to make short work of everything provided!
This was our way of thanking the volunteer team for all their hard work transforming the town, to the delight of the children and no doubt the adults too.

Centenary Celebrations at Aviemore

Those members who booked before the initial deadline enabled us to secure the necessary venues for the Dinner and for the Annual Review, Thanks to them there is still time for more people to book up for Aviemore – whether attending both events, or in particular attending the Annual Review on Sunday 9th May 2010.

The November edition of RoundUp is very helpful, giving travel details for both train & bus from Edinburgh and Glasgow on the Sunday. This should encourage people to start to plan their visit.

The booking form is now reproduced on the newsletters page, along with the new Round Up. Both can be downloaded from there.

N.B. The dinner has been moved to a bigger suite than originally intended which means we can now extend the deadline date for anyone who could not book so far in advance.
Bookings for both events will now be accepted until 26th March 2010. Deposits will be non-returnable after 31st January 2010.
